In areas of Dubai where many Indian families live, you can often find mutton at local supermarkets. However, mutton has a distinctive aroma that may not be familiar to everyone, so for this recipe, I use lamb instead. It is milder, easier to enjoy, and works beautifully in this North Indian-style curry.

I also love vegetable and lentil curries, but since my family enjoys meat dishes, I decided to make a lamb curry this time. The lamb is marinated with yogurt and spices, then simmered with slowly cooked onions and tomatoes. Cashew nuts add a gentle richness and a mellow texture.

This curry is not very spicy, but it is full of flavor thanks to whole spices, ground spices, and garam masala. It goes well with both rice and naan, making it a comforting homemade curry with a special touch.
